Bayern Munich coach Julian Nagelsmann believes Lucas Hernandez and Dayot Upamecano will be fit to face RB Leipzig Sikh.
The Tigers will open their home against Leipzig in the Bundesliga on Saturday night. This is a big game in which Nagelsmann has to lead his team to a duel with their former agency ufabet.
However, the pre-match issue was injuries at Lucas Hernandez and Upamecano, but the Bayern head coach believes both will be available to help the team.
“Lucas Hernandez is fine, he was injure in training yesterday (Wednesday). But there is nothing to worry about,” Nagelsmann said.
“Today he trained well and feels great, Upa (Upamecano) is improving. He’s had one or two unfortunate games. Perhaps it would have been better. But he’s still young and sometimes we forget about that.
“I’m reiterating that. He was someone who wanted to keep his level steady. If he performs better than expected. That’s a good thing. But sometimes he does less than expected as well.”
Lucas Hernández was substituted in FC Bayern’s 3-2 win in the Bundesliga top-of-the-table match at Borussia Dortmund. After he had to receive ankle treatment earlier in the game. FCB coach Julian Nagelsmann played down any fears during the press conference, though: “Luci [Hernández] is basically fine. It was a precautionary measure alongside the fact that we wanted to bring into the game a new, fresher, speedy centre-back.” Niklas Süle came in for the Frenchman. Next Wednesday, FC Bayern will host FC Barcelona in the Champions League.
